The Cat's Jammies Story

 

Who we are:

Janet - Artist/Designer

After more than 20 years teaching and directing theatre at the college and university level, Janet took her cats, books, and husband/partner back to New York State from the West. Ready to find a small, quiet bit of unstressed artistic freedom, she turned her attention to making more jewelry and fine needlework for family and friends. One day she realized people would actually pay for her pretty bracelets, necklaces and earrings. Janet began searching for her own special style. She discovered beading and special combinations of colors and textures. Finally her love of color and textures led her to combine Japanese weaving with some of her beading.

Janet continues to experiment with fibers and metals and sizes and shapes. Always happy to custom create, Janet and her furry staff invite you to enjoy her creations or request a "special". We also "re-envision" or "update" broken or hard-to-wear pieces.

Janet will still mentor your play script or "doctor" your production. She is also available, by request, to write a script or help you envision your premier.
